With a Harbour and Marina you would be excused for thinking that Watchet was a fishing town, but Scratch the surface and you’ll discover a Port with an industrial heritage to rival most large Towns!  With the West Somerset Railway running through the town making it an ideal place to visit on your train journey. Turn your back to the sea and discover a rural scene thousands of years in the making with geological features formed in the Jurassic Period.  Situated on the England Coast Path make Watchet your base to walk south to Minehead or north to Brean. Or explore the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park.

Choose to visit during peak season and  find the town filled with hundreds of people enjoying live music, entertainment, having fun or watching a local spectacle. Choose to visit off peak and enjoy the peace and quiet of a small town.
